What's a Hair Topper?

A hair topper is a hairpiece designed to cover thinning or balding areas of the scalp. It sits on top of the natural hair and blends in seamlessly, providing volume and coverage. Hair toppers come in various styles, colors, and materials, making it easy to find one that matches your natural look. They are a great solution for those looking to enhance their hairstyle without committing to permanent changes.

What's the difference between a Silk Base Hair Topper and a Monofilament Hair Topper?
A silk base hair topper features a silk material on the base that mimics the appearance of a natural scalp, allowing for a more realistic look when parting the hair, while a monofilament hair topper is made of a breathable mesh fabric that allows the wearer's scalp color to show through, creating a natural effect. Silk base toppers often provide a softer feel and can be more expensive, while monofilament toppers are typically lighter and allow for versatile styling.

What makes Elite Hair Toppers different from other brands?

Elite Hair Toppers specialize in low density Hair Toppers. Our typical density ranges between 110 and 120 hair density. This allows a very natural look.

Can my Elite Hair Topper be colored?

YES. Elite Hair Toppers can be colored darker. It is not recommended to lift or bleach the hair as it can damage the hair.

How to care for my Elite Hair Topper?

To wash a hair topper, start by gently detangling it with a wide-tooth comb. Fill a basin/sink with lukewarm water and add a sulfate-free, hydrating shampoo, then immerse the topper and swish it gently for a few minutes. Rinse thoroughly with cool water to avoid damage, then apply a hydrating conditioner for human hair, leaving it on for a few minutes before rinsing again. After washing, gently squeeze out excess water without twisting and lay the topper flat on a towel to dry, reshaping it as needed, avoiding direct sunlight or heat sources. Let the hair topper air dry. After the topper is dry, style as your please, however if you are using heat on your topper, please use a heat protectant. If you feel that your hair topper hair is dry, you can add a pea size amount of Moroccan Oil to add moisture back into the hair.
